My niece sent this video to my wife and although it was making it around during the Christmas holiday season I had never seen it and wanted to share it with you. It’s a beautiful 3 minute song sung by a young girl who wants Santa to bring her dad home.
I remember when my dad was in Vietnam in the late 60’s and how exciting it was to have him home. I hope everyone of you who has a loved one in Iraq, Afghanistan, or some other place far away from home will have them return home soon.

Cat Stevens may have political views that are polar opposite of mine, but he was one of my favorites and this song is one of the best he gave to us. Very moving song.

I came across this video of a young guy singing a song for his dad. The video is from the Donna Reed TV show in 1962. I was actually alive when this came out although not old enough to have seen it, but it brings back some warm memories of my dad Jack. Sure wish I could have sung him a song like this during his life. Times sure have changed. For dads everywhere.

A couple of minutes of some of the best TV bloopers I’ve seen. Family friendly with the possible exception of the two hogs making baby baconettes behind a newscaster.

No, not the ones where they jump off of tall buildings or out of moving cars… really cool stunts on skateboards, snowboards, and other things kids use to move and give us gray hairs.

This hilarious sketch from The Carol Burnett Show with Tim Conway Harvey Korman reminded me of my dad Jack. He always loved the show and we always loved when he was happy. This skit is one of the best. Suitable for all ages. (2:57)

Your teenager has probably seen this very popular Star Wars battle between Ryan and Dorkman, but just in case…. It’s PG-13 and almost 10 minutes long, but worth the time if you haven’t seen it.

This video from DadLabs is a must-view especially if you expect Santa to bring your kids any toys that require assembly!
